Canine Circus began as a set of stickers I designed back in 2021. While doing some creative research I came across vintage glass faced clown dolls and other rubber faced plushies. The aesthetic of Rushton toys specifically caught my attention. Both, clowns and Rushton toys, inspired me to create my special clown lads, since to my surprise there was a shocking lack of clown dog plushies in the world! So born were the Canine Circus gang.

In 2022, I decided to work on turning these guys into plushies! To bring these guys to life I ran a Kickstarter to fund the project. I also invited some fellow artists to design themed merch for the campaign. Little did I know people would love these guys so much that Canine Circus would be one of my most successful projects to date! The project was funded in 10 minutes, we also received enough funding to unlock every stretch goal and then some!

What started as a one off sticker set has since grown into my main body of work! Thank you for loving these clowns as much as myself. Your love and support for these lads allows me work full time on adding more friends to the circus!
